# Nozzle Guide: Size & Material Matters The nozzle is the business end of your printer. Changing it can drastically change your print quality and speed. ## 1. Nozzle Sizes * **0.4mm (Standard):** The perfect balance of speed and detail. Use this for 90% of prints. * **0.6mm (Speed):** Prints 50% faster but loses fine detail. Great for functional parts. * **0.2mm (Detail):** For miniatures. Very slow, very high detail. ## 2. Nozzle Materials * **Brass (Standard):** Excellent heat conductivity. Cheap. **Use for PLA, PETG, ABS.** * **Hardened Steel:** Wear-resistant. **REQUIRED for Abrasive Materials** (Glow-in-the-dark, Carbon Fiber, Wood). * *Note:* Steel conducts heat poorly. You may need to increase print temp by 5-10°C.
